Photography by Kurt Kaindl and essays by Karl Markus Gauss explore the lives of Europe's smallest ethnic minorities, the Albanian-speaking Arbereshe in Italy, the Degesi in Slovakia, the German-speaking Gottscheer in Slovenia, the Sephardim in Bosnia-Herzegovina and the Slavonic Sorbs in Germany.
