Cambridge Communications Systems Inc. of Alexandria won a $15 million, 10-year contract from the Defense Information Systems Agency under the Puerto Rico Area Wideband System contract to provide transmission and telecom support in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

CompuDyne-Public Safety and Justice Inc., a division of CompuDyne Corp. of Annapolis, won a $2 million contract with Volusia County, Fla., to implement a new records-management system for the county's public safety and law enforcement agencies.

General Dynamics Corp. 's Advanced Information Systems unit in Falls Church won a $56 million contract modification from the Defense Department to provide operational support and engineering services for the Trident ballistic missile system. The contract may be worth $147 million if all options are exercised, the company said.

ManTech International Corp. of Fairfax won a $200 million subcontract from Readiness Management Support LC to provide the Air Force with worldwide contingency services for radar systems, navigational aids, communications, information technology and logistics systems.

Pragmatics Inc. of McLean won a $5.6 million contract from the Defense Information Systems Agency to provide professional consulting and IT services for DISA's Denver customer-service management team.

Raytheon Co. 's business unit, Raytheon Technical Services Co. LLC of Reston, won a $70.2 million contract, the fourth of four one-year options, from the Naval Air Systems Command to support navigation and reconnaissance systems, aircraft support and mission planning, aircraft armament equipment and weapons data-link systems.

SI International Inc. of Reston won a $4 million, two-year contract from the Air Force Space Command to provide systems engineering and technical analysis for development of future ballistic missile defense systems.

SI International also won a $6.9 million, five-year contract from the National Security Agency to provide human resources support services to the NSA welcome center.

SureScripts of Alexandria was among four companies to share in $6 million in contracts from the Health and Human Services Department to launch a pilot project to test initial standards for electronic prescribing of medications. The other three winners are Achieve Healthcare Technologies of Eden Prairie, Minn.; Brigham and Women's Hospital of Boston; and Rand Corp. of Santa Monica, Calif.

Tier Technologies Inc. of Reston won a $1.1 million contract from the Arkansas Workforce Services Department to upgrade the department's interactive voice-response system with natural language speech recognition and install a new claims application by telephone system.

Universal Systems and Technology Inc. of Centreville won an $18.8 million, four-year contract from the Army to produce newly developed, shoulder-launched munitions-weapons effects simulators for the Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement Simulation.

TEC Inc. of Charlottesville won a $10 million contract from the Naval Facilities Engineering Command for environmental planning and engineering services for the National Environmental Policy Act and an executive order on environmental effects of major federal actions abroad.
