Through June, the main southbound entrance to Washington Reagan National will be reduced to one lane . . . The Florence, Italy, airport has closed for at least two months due to runway maintenance. Flights are being diverted to Pisa and Bologna; check with your airline for any itinerary changes . . . The world's busiest airport, Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson, recently introduced its $2.7 million Distributed Antenna System (DAS), which among other features will allow for clearer, more consistent cell phone service throughout the airport (including the train tunnel and pedestrian mall) . . . 600-plus travelers competed in the "name that sculpture" contest at Dallas/Fort Worth International. The 100-foot-long sculpture, part of a $6 million public arts program in Terminal D, is now called "On the Wings of a Dragon" . . . London airports get a little hipper this summer with the debut of YOTEL, inspired by Japan's capsule hotels. Heathrow's Terminal 4 and Gatwick's South Terminal will each have at least 40 tiny cabins, available both overnight (with rates starting at $70) and in four-hour segments (from $44), with such features as free Internet, a flat-screen TV, a double bed and a bathroom.
