Apple Computer fell $3.86, to $64.95
Oracle rose 12 cents, to $12.69.
Electronic Data Systems rose 20 cents, to $25.71.
Whole Foods Market fell $6.78, to $65.27
Morgan Stanley fell 9 cents, to $61.18. Morgan Stanley installed Zoe Cruz and Robert Scully as co-presidents under chief executive John Mack.
General Motors rose 15 cents, to $22.14. GM announced a sales incentive for its sport-utility vehicles.

Crude oil for March delivery: $62.62, up 7 cents.
Gold for current delivery: $564.50 a troy ounce, up from $550.10 on Wednesday.
