No wonder candy sales are high: 22 percent of men and 13 percent of women confess to dalliances while married, according to the University of Chicago's 2004 General Social Survey. What's more, Washington area private eyes say cases of female infidelity have spiked. Good for business, eh? Nope:
"The women, they want to know every detail of an affair, and they'll go to the ends of the earth to get them," District investigator William Vain said. "They want to know the how, the why, the where, the how many times. That means a lot of hours for us.
"But the men, they don't need all that. They'd rather spend their money on beer. They just want to know it's going on, and that's the end of it."
A cheating heart leaves signs, according to Advanced Surveillance Group. Is the "love" of your life:
· Making secret phone calls?
· Leaving the room to take a call or read a text message?
· Acting preoccupied or distant?
