Routes to improve: Pages 9, 11, 13 and 14 

Here are some highlights :

· Eleven routes would be cut, and late-night service on 28 Friday and Saturday routes would be eliminated.

· Reinvest the money saved in improved service on other routes.

· Cut down on bunching-up of buses and improve on-time performance.

· Offer standard weekday rail and bus service on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents' Day, Columbus Day and Veterans Day.

· Extend the use of six-car trains during off-peak and weekend hours for an additional three months when ridership is high.

· Hold hearings on proposed changes.

· Sponsor a conference to discuss bus service across the region, including priority lanes, signals and bus bunching.
