So now the legislation goes to the House?

How did the mainstream media miss this announcement?

Web Speak in Need of a Tweak

Operation Iraqi Freedom, the official Web site of the Multinational Force-Iraq, says the site "is undergoing an upgrade." So if you click on the section providing information on "Terrorists & Foreign Fighters," it says: "coming soon." Might want to rephrase that?

Course Clarification

Berkeley law professor and former Justice Department official John Yoo , author of the famous Torture Memo, wrote in to clarify the name of the course he will be teaching in Trento, Italy. It's about globalization and constitutional law, not terrorism.

"But I am on sabbatical this semester and have spent January and February researching terrorism issues for a book on that subject," he noted. It would be a follow to his current book, "The Powers of War and Peace," which came out a few months ago.

"My travel isn't really interesting enough for your column, is it?" he asked.

You never know.

Correction

U.S. ice dancing silver medalists Tanith Belbin and Ben Agosto , though grateful to Rep. John Conyers (D-Mich.) for his support in resolving Belbin's citizenship status, actually mentioned Rep. Thaddeus McCotter (R-Mich.) in their television interview, not Conyers.
