Northeast

HOMICIDES

41ST ST. , 100 block, 8:25 a.m. Feb. 21. Baldwin Robertson Jr., of the 4200 block of Benning Road NE, was found with a gunshot wound to the head. He was taken to the D.C. Medical Examiner's Office and pronounced dead.

JAY ST., 3800 block, 3:45 p.m. Feb. 22. Ronald Morton, 58, of the 3800 block of Jay Street NE, was found in his residence with an unidentified injury. He was pronounced dead at the scene, then taken to the D.C. Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy.

ROBBERIES

AMES ST., 3600 block, 11:30 a.m. Feb. 16. Two gunmen and a male accomplice assaulted a male pedestrian and robbed him of jewelry and a wallet containing a bank card.

BENNING RD., 4500 block, 12:14 to 12:20 a.m. Feb. 11. A gunman robbed a male pedestrian of cash, forced him into an apartment and told him to knock on a door. A resident opened the door, and the gunman demanded cash. The resident complied, then called police. A man, 21, was arrested.

BRENTWOOD RD., 1300 block, 7:20 to 9 p.m. Feb. 13. A male assaulted and robbed a male pedestrian.

CONSTITUTION AVE., 1800 block, 11:15 a.m. Feb. 13. A male robbed a male student of a wallet at a school.

E ST., 600 block, 8 to 8:10 p.m. Feb. 16. A gunman robbed a male at a residence of a cell phone.

EASTERN AVE., 6000 block, 3:20 p.m. Feb. 14. A gunman got out of a vehicle, robbed a male pedestrian of a cell phone and jacket and fled in the vehicle with two male accomplices.

HAYES ST., 3700 block, 5:05 p.m. Feb. 11. Several people assaulted three security officers and took a cell phone.
