FBI Knew al-Qaeda Pilots Training in U.S.
The 19 Sept. 11 hijackers received training from at least 10 U.S. flight schools.
During today's testimony, Moussaoui, wearing a white knit cap, sat quietly, often stroking his long beard and occasionally taking notes in the courtroom in Alexandria, Va.

U.S. District Court Judge Leonie M. Brinkema yesterday rejected his latest attempt to serve as his own attorney.
Seated a few rows behind Moussaoui was his mother, Aicha el-Wafi, who wore a headscarf. She told reporters later that she hardly recognized her son, who appears "too fat and too lethargic." She said she thought he had been sedated "so that he remains calm and does not bother anyone."
Moussaoui has frequently disrupted court proceedings in the past with various outbursts, including shouted declarations of allegiance to al-Qaeda and denunciations of the United States, his lawyers and the judge.
Wafi said her son now is "mad at me because I've been speaking with the lawyers."
She added, "I think he saw me. I know my son. I am sure he is watching me from one eye."
She said in response a question that she did not know if Moussaoui wants to be a "martyr," but that "the United States needs a guilty man. They made a scapegoat of him, but on his own agreement."
