NEW YORK AVE. NE , 1200 block, March 14. A Greenbelt man surrendered his 2-month-old Labrador retriever to the D.C. shelter because, he said, after owning it for two days he realized it was too much work. He said he had gotten a goldfish and no longer wanted the dog. The shelter found a new home for the Lab.
