MONTGOMERY COUNTY
Montgomery County police yesterday found the body of an 83-year-old Rockville man reported missing last week and charged his tenant with first-degree murder.
William Brewer King's body was in the laundry room of his house, in the 1700 block of Grandin Avenue.
Suspect Kirk M. Wilkerson, 41, rented a room at the house, said Lt. Eric Burnett, a police spokesman. Detectives believe the men fought over money, Burnett said.
A neighbor who last saw King on March 19 contacted police Thursday to report him missing, police said. Officers found the body when they stopped by to follow up on the missing-person investigation, Burnett said.
