· A stowaway kitty made it across the U.S.-Canada border last week by clinging to the metal underside of a big truck. The cat, nicknamed Canada, hopped on in Saskatchewan for an eight-hour ride to North Dakota.
· A cat in Germany may have saved the life of a newborn boy left on a doorstep in the middle of a freezing cold night. "Its loud meowing got the attention of the homeowner and saved the baby," a police spokesman said.
· A cat stuck in the walls of a historic New York City building for two weeks was finally freed Friday. Molly the cat had received international attention with her distressed cries for help. About 40 people worked day and night to rescue Molly.
