Dallas Mavericks star Dirk Nowitski revealed recently that he sings a David Hasselhoff song (true!) before taking those pressure-packed free throws in the NBA Playoffs. We got to thinking: Forget John Mayer -- perhaps Hasselhoff's songs could act as a soothing balm to our everyday stresses.

For that whole Wilson Bridge driving mess:

Just remember to hold on tight

I know it's your life in my hands

While trapped in the slow line at Whole Foods:
