Girls' Gymnast Of the Year
MEGAN ASKEW, Chesapeake, Sr.
The three-time All-County selection rebounded from a back injury that sidelined her for most of last season to win the all-around in every meet in which she competed, until the county championships, when she was hobbled by a sprained ankle and finished fifth. She recovered to finish fourth in the floor (9.275) at the state meet.
Boys' Gymnast Of the Year
W. KYLE REGAN, Broadneck, Jr.
Regan, a three-time All-County selection and a level 10 gymnast, won the all-around at every meet in which he competed this season. His highest all-around score was 49.30, just short of the county record, 50.0.
