Local airports make good: Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall ranks third overall in airport satisfaction among medium-size North American airports, according to a study based on passenger surveys conducted by J.D. Power and Associates and Aviation Week. BWI won the scores of "Among the Best" for airport accessibility and terminal facilities, with an overall score of 706 out of 1,000. Neither Reagan National nor Washington Dulles made the top 10, with scores of 685 and 675, respectively. New York's LaGuardia won the top honors in the category, which covers airports with 10 million to up to 30 million passengers annually . . . The "Park Happy @ BWI" coupon sale for B WI's hourly and daily garages has been extended through Sept. 4 . . . The Windy City joined the world of cell phone parking lots last month. The lots at both airports are less than four minutes from the main terminal area. At Chicago O'Hare, those waiting for passengers should head to Economy Parking Lot F; at Midway, the lot is at 61st Street and Cicero Avenue, just south of the main airport entrance . . . Singapore Changi turned 25 yesterday. The Silver Jubilee celebration features a "shopping festival" through Oct. 31, including major discounts and a jackpot game.
