Jordan to Sign 3-Year Extension With the Wizards

The Washington Wizards and Coach Eddie Jordan are expected to finalize the details of a contract extension today and a news conference could take place as soon as Monday, according to sources with knowledge of the situation.
Jordan, who has one year remaining on the four-year contract he signed in the summer of 2003, will sign a three-year extension worth $12 million. The Wizards will hold a team option on the third year. The new contract will kick in following the 2006-2007 season.
