Free agent forward Darius Songaila was expected to fly to Washington late last night, take a physical this morning and sign a five-year contract worth around $21 million today, according to Songaila's agent, Mark Bartelstein .

The addition of Songaila means the Wizards have 13 players under contract for next season.

The team also plans to retain restricted free agent guard-forward Jared Jeffries and has expressed interest in free agent shooting guard DeShawn Stevenson , who recently turned down a three-year, $10 million offer from the Orlando Magic.
