Fair Oaks District


BURKE CENTRE PARKWAY AND OAK LEATHER DRIVE, 4 p.m. July 8. A 14-year-old female pedestrian saw a naked man standing in a wooded area.


COMMERCE ST., 7200 block, 2 a.m. July 9. Two men, one with a baseball bat, approached a 25-year-old man walking with his bicycle. One man hit him with the bat, and they took cash and fled. The victim was treated at a medical center.

VIENNA METRO STATION, 1:30 a.m. July 12. A man assaulted a 52-year-old cabdriver, knocking him unconscious, during a dispute about the fare. The man then took cash from the cabdriver and fled. The victim called police when he regained consciousness. Police found a suspect with the help of a K-9 unit, and the 23-year-old Falls Church man was charged with robbery. The victim was treated at a hospital.


BLAKE LANE, 9500 block. CDs were stolen from a vehicle.

DANIEL LEWIS LANE, 9500 block. A license plate was stolen from a vehicle.

FAIR LAKES SHOPPING CENTER, 13000 block. DVDs were stolen from a business.

FAIR OAKS SHOPPING CENTER, 11700 block. A watch was stolen from a business.

LEE JACKSON MEMORIAL HWY., 11700 block. An iPod was stolen from a business.

LEE JACKSON MEMORIAL HWY., 14000 block. Gas was stolen from a service station.
