Fair Oaks District


SEDGEHURST DR., 4400 block, 12:02 a.m. July 31. A man grabbed a woman walking with another woman and displayed a handgun. A second man with a handgun then appeared, and they robbed the women of their purses, then fled in a vehicle.


BLUEBERRY LANE, 13200 block. A bicycle was stolen.

BLUE FOX LANE, 13100 block. An iPod and a laptop computer were stolen from a vehicle.

CENTREVILLE RD., 3000 block. Cash was stolen from a business.

CHAIN BRIDGE RD., 4100 block. A purse was stolen from a vehicle.

FAIR LAKES SHOPPING CENTER, 13000 block. Cash was stolen from a business.

HIGHLAND PL., 3600 block. A basketball net was stolen from a yard.

LEE JACKSON MEMORIAL HWY., 12300 block. Cash was stolen from a purse.

MEADOW HILL LANE, 4100 block. A moped was stolen from a school.
