A Late Summer Tradition
Twenty-three women will compete to be named Miss Maryland Agriculture at the Cow Palace Show Ring at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow, the start of the 11-day 2006 Maryland State Fair . The fair runs from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. tomorrow through Sept. 4 and includes a midway, 4-H competitions, cow-milking lessons, pig racing, horse and pony shows, honey extraction demonstrations, thoroughbred racing and concerts. The fairgrounds are at 2200 York Rd., Timonium, near Timonium Road. Entry is $6; children 11 and younger, free.
