Excerpted from an e-mail sent to a reporter Sept. 6 by Paradigm Communications, a public relations firm based in Natick, Mass.:

"Last week, we sent you a media advisory about a prominent BPM and SOA taking place in Washington, DC (see below). The event will feature a myriad of case studies and best practices at the only Government Focused Business Process Management (BPM), Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Business Rules (BR) events to be held this year.

"Below are summaries of a few of the case studies being presented. . . . If you're interested in attending the conference, please let me know."

(Our favorite case study: "SOA for ABC to BAM on ESB" . . . a must for anyone stumped about "how to relate management strategies with design time standards and runtime principles.")
