Worst subject in school: "Phys ed. I don't count that as a real subject, though. In high school my worst subject was English."

Best subject in school: Science.

Pets: "I have a very special cat. . . . He lives with my parents in Canada. I'm very seriously allergic to him."

Hobbies: "My main hobby is watching 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer.' I watch them on DVD. . . .

I also like going out with my camera."

Best Christmas present: "A handmade bear that my sister made for me. It's very lopsided. It's so original and unique, I'm very delicate with it; I worry it might fall apart. It's the most wonderful present I've ever received."

Worst trouble you got into as a kid: "I was terrible because I was a goody-two-shoes. I was like Duck [a character in 'Endymion Spring']. I once ended up in hospital with stitches because my older sister got so annoyed with me that she attacked me with a spatula."
