NEW YORK -- Justin Timberlake's music is taking over the world. His album "FutureSex/LoveSounds" has sold more than 684,000 copies its first week, according to his label.
That puts him at number one on the album chart. He's also number one in Britain, Canada, Ireland, Australia and Singapore, and in the top five in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Holland, France, Denmark and Hong Kong.
The album is also the biggest album ever for pre-orders on iTunes.
Soundscan reports it beat Coldplay's record for the biggest one-week sales of a digital album.
