Local Coverage: The Huskies have several players from the Washington area. Senior Terry Caulley (Patuxent) leads the team in rushing (328 yards), and he ran for 157 yards and two touchdowns in a 38-0 victory over Navy in 2002. Among the other local players are starting strong safety M.J. Estep (Chopticon) and wide receiver Brandon Young (Chopticon), and backup cornerback Ernest Cole (DeMatha) and defensive end Harold Stanback (Bishop McNamara). Also, U-Conn. Athletic Director Jeffrey Hathaway is a DeMatha graduate.
What's Inside Counts : Navy's offense is predicated on its center and guards being able to block the opposing team's defensive tackles. That matchup today will be one to watch. Navy center James Rossi (6 feet 1, 269 pounds) and guards Antron Harper (5-11, 257) and Zach Gallion (6-2, 315) are among the team's strongest players. U-Conn. counters with defensive tackles Ray Blagman (6-2, 327) and Rhema Fuller (6-3, 285). Blagman is tough to move; Fuller has four tackles for a loss.
They're Full : Navy Coach Paul Johnson plans to use senior fullback Matt Hall (14 carries, 107 yards) more today because he is worried junior fullback Adam Ballard (68 carries, 352 yards) is being worn down toward the end of games. Hall runs well inside; Ballard is good inside but excels running between the guard and tackle.

Howard vs. Fort Valley State
Records: Bison 0-3, Wildcats 2-3.
When: 1 p.m.
Where:Greene Stadium.
Schedule Imbalance: The Bison, who have lost seven in a row dating from last October, go from facing an undefeated Division I-A team (Rutgers) to a Division II program from Georgia that has lost three straight since beating Clark and Morehouse.
Rough Waters: The Wildcats' defensive coordinator is former Redskins nemesis Andre Waters, a rambunctious safety during a 12-year NFL career with the Eagles and Cardinals.
Passing Options: Four quarterbacks have thrown at least six passes apiece for the Bison, who have scored only 14 first-half points this season and are averaging 12.3 points per game.

Georgetown at Colgate
Records: Hoyas 1-3, 0-1 Patriot League; Raiders 1-2, 0-0.

Where: Andy Kerr Stadium, Hamilton, N.Y.
TV: MASN (taped, 3:30).
QB Change: Hoyas junior Matt Bassuener has seized the starting job from Ben Hostetler after entering in the second quarter of last weekend's loss at Columbia and completing 17 of 22 passes for 177 yards and three touchdowns to earn Patriot League offensive player of the week honors.
Seeing Red: The Hoyas are 0-4 all-time against the Raiders, the defending Patriot League champions who are 50-11 against conference competition the last 10 seasons. A year ago, Colgate defeated Georgetown, 34-7, in Washington.
Family Pride: Hoyas senior linebacker Chris Paulus, older brother of Duke basketball player Greg Paulus, leads the team and is second in the league with 42 tackles.
