The Charges

All five individuals face four felony counts, each of which carries a fine

of $10,000 to $25,000

and up to three years in prison:

· Use of false or fraudulent pretenses to obtain confidential information from a public utility.

· Unauthorized access to computer data.

· Identity theft.

· Conspiracy to commit each of those crimes.
