The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Fairfax, 2709 Hunter Mill Rd., Oakton, hosts a panel discussion and forum on the proposed amendment to the Virginia Constitution to define marriage from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. 703-281-4230.

Mount Tabor Catholic house of prayer and retreat, 2363 Hunter Mill Rd., Vienna, plans a fireside chat with Kevin Nadolski of Oblates of St. Francis de Sales at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. The theme is "Hope in Justice Amid Injustice." 703-476-1446.

Centreville United Methodist Church, 6400 Old Centreville Rd., hosts a hymn festival at 7:30 p.m. Monday. The event is sponsored by the American Guild of Organists and led by church organist Jeffrey Pannabaker.

On Oct. 29 the church plans a fall festival for families with children. Children are encouraged to wear costumes. There will be food, crafts and games. 703-830-2684.

St. Raymond's Catholic Church, 6222 Franconia Rd. in the Alexandria section of Fairfax County, is having a craft bazaar from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Nov. 10 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 11. Items for sale include holiday gifts, decorations and baked goods. 703-690-1855.
