KidsPost reported earlier on how poorly the Teddy Roosevelt mascot did in the presidents' race at Washington Nationals home games. (He never won all season.) Turns out Roosevelt himself might have offered a clue to explain his poor performance. "I like to see Quentin practicing baseball," he once said. "It gives me hope that one of my boys will not take after his father in this respect, and will prove able to play the national game."
