Distributive Networks LLC plans to hire about six people in the next two months. Kevin Bertram, chief executive, talked with The Post's Judith Mbuya.
Q What does your
company do?
AWe provide a comprehensive suite of mobile marketing products and services, including original content, end-to-end technical and customer service support, and customized mobile marketing solutions for our clients. We provide wireless content -- such as horoscopes, daily jokes and weather reports -- that is delivered to people's cellphones. We also provide mobile marketing solutions to a wide array of clients from sport teams to major brands.
What do you think your employees would say are the best reasons for working at your company?
We have a very flexible environment where there is a lot of opportunity to grow and work on exciting projects. We have an amazing benefits package and excellent salaries.
Who owns your company?
The company is 100 percent privately owned.
What sense of stability can your company offer job candidates?
The company has been profitable every quarter since its inception and is in an exciting industry with unlimited opportunities, not unlike the Internet in 1996.
What are the demographics of your company?
Company-wide, we're 42 percent female and 25 percent minority. Of the four people on the senior-management team, three are female and one is minority.
What positions do you have available, and what level of expertise do you want?
The vice president of operations is a more senior position. We're looking for someone with at least 10 years of experience.
The other five positions we're looking for: an account manager, two junior software engineers, a network engineer and a graphic designer with one to four years of experience for each position. We do not require security clearances.
