Fair Oaks District


CENTREVILLE RD., 2400 block, 5:45 p.m. Oct. 15. A gun was fired at least three times during a fight in a parking lot of a shopping center. Participants in the fight were gone when police arrived. No injuries were reported.

FAIR OAKS SHOPPING CENTER, 6:30 p.m. Oct. 13. A 16-year-old boy bumped into a man as he walked through the door of the shopping center, and the man stabbed the teenager in the midsection, knocking him down. The man ran outside, then ran back into the mall. The victim and his two companions chased him into a store. Police located an 18-year-old Maryland man and charged him with malicious wounding and gang participation. The victim was treated injury at a hospital.

SWEET MINT DRIVE AND SUGAR LANE, 7 a.m. Oct. 13. A 15-year-old boy assaulted a 16-year-old boy, causing a cut to his forehead. The injured youth was treated at a hospital. The incident was under investigation.


BRIGGS RD., 4700 block. A check was stolen from a residence.

DECATUR DR., 10900 block. Scooters were stolen from a residence.

KALMIA LANE, 13200 block. A bank card was stolen from a residence.

LEE JACKSON MEMORIAL HWY., 13000 block. Alcohol was stolen from a business.

PENDER CREEK CIR., 12200 block. Dishes were stolen from a residence.

POINT PLEASANT DR., 12800 block. A radio was stolen from a residence.
