Montgomery Officer Drops Suit Against Judge
A Montgomery County police officer has withdrawn a lawsuit in which he accused District Court Judge Brian G. Kim of unlawfully confiscating his cellphone.
Officer Philip Ragan filed the lawsuit last month after Kim, who has a rocky relationship with the police department, confiscated the cellphone and kept it for a week.
The judge took the phone when Ragan reached for it as he was stepping out of Kim's courtroom.
