Cinema's Most Loathsome Politicians

Sunday, November 5, 2006; N01

Let me explain something: Shut up.

I address our politicians on this, the last weekend before Election Day. Dear Noble Sirs, let me refine it, in case you didn't understand the nuance of my argument: Shut up.

And finally, in a nutshell, the essence of my message: Shut up.

God, I hate them: yapping, whining, lying, spinning, braying, honking, advertising, hard-hat-posing, ego-blasting monsters. Why there's -- yeah, I know. If you name names and vent too hot, you get a visit from boys in gray suits off the rack and crew cuts. Nobody needs that. Imagine what the neighbors will say.

So let's take it out on the fictional. Let's cream the five most annoying politicians in movie history.
