Dances of the Philippines

The Bayanihan Philippine National Dance Company, one of the world's leading folk dance troupes, performs colorful works that reflect the region's Chinese, Spanish and Islamic influences Saturday and Sunday at George Mason University. New Views of Home

A new exhibition of 40 detailed images of the Blue Planet as seen by imaging satellites goes on view Saturday at the National Air and Space Museum. Photographs in "Earth From Space" show the shadows cast by the pyramids, channels entering the Arctic Ocean and the swirling arms of a massive hurricane. Admission is free.

Remembering Our Veterans

The service and sacrifice of America's veterans will be honored Saturday at Veterans Day ceremonies across the region.

At 8 a.m., a wreath will be placed at the World War II Memorial to honor all World War II veterans, and another wreath will be placed at 11 for 82nd Airborne Division veterans. At 4 p.m., a ceremony will honor World War II cavalry veterans.

At 11 a.m., a wreath will be placed at the Tomb of the Unknowns in Arlington National Cemetery, followed by a ceremony in the amphitheater. Visitors must be seated by 10:30. Free buses will operate from the

visitors center parking lot.
