The election is over, and priorities are being set. Certainly one of the first actions on the agenda must be the major revision or repeal of the Military Commissions Act. This would return the National Guard to its rightful role, restore habeas corpus, and reinstate the Bill of Rights for detainees and anyone else who happens to fall under the suspicion of the U.S. government.
