Buster, that globe-hopping bunny from the animated series "Arthur," is back on the road with a new season of "Postcards From Buster" (Channel 32, 4:30). Today, he makes it all the way out to Hawaii.
Tonight, ABC gets in the holiday spirit with the broadcast debut of 2004's "The Polar Express" (Channel 7 at 8), an animated version of Chris Van Allsburg's popular children's book. Tom Hanks voices the conductor of that mythical train headed to the North Pole. He also voices S. Claus and a host of other characters.
In a two-part, two-hour "Las Vegas" (Channel 4 at 9), Ed and Danny must steal $50 million from their own casino to ransom Delinda from killer kidnappers.
As Fox's ratings-challenged "Justice" (Channel 5 at 8) clings to the lineup for dear life, Tom rallies the lawyers to represent their building's parking attendant after his wife is found shot to death in their trailer home.
The 13th annual "Ice Wars" (Channel 9 at 8) on CBS pits past-their-prime U.S. and international professional figure skaters against one another. Brian Boitano, Michael Weiss, Rory Flack Burghart and Angela Nikodinov skate for the United States; Alexei Yagudin, Kurt Browning, Oksana Baiul and Shizuka Arakawa represent the rest of the planet.
Christmas begins in earnest on ABC Family as the network kicks off its annual "25 Days of Christmas" programming slate to cram lots and lots of holiday specials into its prime-time lineup. Tonight, the animated special "Frosty's Winter Wonderland" at 7 p.m. is followed at 7:30 by the popular kiddie movie "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone."
Everybody gets naked in the Cinemax documentary "Positively Naked" at 7 p.m. The film chronicles the gathering of nearly 100 HIV-positive men and women in Manhattan who shed their clothes for an ensemble nude photograph.
Here's a cheery title: "The Worst Week of My Life" (BBC America, 9:40 p.m.) is a British sitcom about the disastrous events that befall a couple in the days before their wedding.
Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.), Maggie Gyllenhaal and Taylor Hicks appear on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" (Channel 4, 11:35) and Danny DeVito, duct tape expert William Beacom and music group the Silversun Pickups are guests on "Late Show With David Letterman" (Channel 9, 11:35).
