KIPP DC operates three public charter schools in the District: DC KEY Academy, with 320 students in grades five through eight, on M Street SE; AIM Academy, with 160 students in grades five and six, on Alabama Avenue SE; and WILL Academy, with 85 fifth-graders, on P Street NW. The schools are part of the national Knowledge Is Power Program. KIPP DC plans to open two elementary schools and one high school in the District, with the ultimate goal of serving more than 2,500 students.
