Looking for gold among lumps of coal . . .

? One to watch: "Nick News With Linda Ellerbee," Sunday at 8:30 p.m. on Nickelodeon, offers an eye-opening look at possible dangers at social networking Web sites and other online resources. Best for kids 10 and older.

? One to miss: "Re-Animated," Cartoon Network's first live-action movie, premieres tonight at 8. It's a mind-numbing story of a 12-year-old who can see cartoon characters in the real world. . . . The network has a better choice Monday at 7 p.m.: the new Christmas-themed "Ben 10."

? Holiday fare: "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" and two "Frosty" classics, tonight at 8 on CBS; the mediocre "Holidaze: The Christmas That Almost Didn't Happen," premiering tomorrow at 8 p.m. on ABC; the well-done "Rugrats Chanukah Special," Tuesday at 7 p.m. on Nickelodeon; and the 40th-anniversary airing of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas", Tuesday at 8 p.m. on ABC. ABC Family has 10 hours of toons beginning at 9 a.m. tomorrow.

? Pick a favorite: "Air Buddies," new to DVD next Tuesday, is a silly but cute look at Air Bud's five ball-playing (and talking) puppies: B-Dawg, RoseBud, Bud-Dha, Mudbud and Budderball. . . . "The Fox and the Hound 2" is a sweet sequel to the 1981 movie about animal pals Tod and Copper.

? Beware: "Unaccompanied Minors," in theaters today, is a rude, PG-rated disaster with few real laughs. Actor Tyler James Williams is charming, though.
