FILM Into the World of Magnus Wallin With Jesper Just's show closing tomorrow at the Hirshhorn, the museum has lined up the films of Swedish animation artist Magnus Wallin for its Black Box Theater. The pieces, "Exercise Parade" (2001) and "Anatomic Flop" (2003), evoke mythology with their dreamlike images and video-game looks. Free. Dec. 15-May 20. Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, Seventh Street and Independence Avenue SW. 202-633-1000.
THE SCENE Prince vs. Pharrell DJ Dredd's last "Prince vs." dance party (rival: Madonna) brought out one of the biggest crowds we've ever seen at the Black Cat, but the next one, Prince vs. Pharrell, is far more suited to our tastes, there being real competition and all. Purple one, it's on. $10. 8:30 p.m. Jan. 14. 1811 14th St. NW. 202-667-7960.
CONCERT New Year's With George Clinton There will be many New Year's bashes all over town, but only Constitution Hall is going to have George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic. They'll play what we're sure will be a raucous show that starts late and goes till early. $76. 10 p.m. Dec. 31. DAR Constitution Hall, 1776 D St. NW. 202-397-7328.
