Fair Oaks District
INDECENT EXPOSURE
FAIR OAKS SHOPPING CENTER,11700 block, 9 p.m. Nov. 28. Police officers patrolling a parking lot observed a man get out of a pickup truck and call to a woman sitting nearby. When the woman looked at him, he exposed himself. The officers attempted to arrest him, and he fled in his truck, striking an officer with a door of the vehicle. Pursued by the officers, the man lost control of his truck. A 55-year-old Harrisonburg man was charged with assaulting a police officer, speeding to elude police, indecent exposure and possession of stolen property.
ASSAULTS
SUNRISE VALLEY DRIVE AND DULLES CORNER BOULEVARD,2:30 a.m. Dec. 8. A man wearing a ski mask came out of bushes, held a gun to the face of an 18-year-old male pedestrian and threatened him, then fled.
ROBBERIES
CHAIN BRIDGE RD.,2900 block, 9:30 p.m. Dec. 8. Five men got out of a vehicle, and one pointed a handgun at a 17-year-old male pedestrian. They took cash from his pocket and fled.
THEFTS/BREAK-INS
CHAIN BRIDGE RD.,2500 block. A laptop computer and hockey equipment were stolen from a residence.
FRANKLIN FARM RD.,13300 block. A dog was stolen from a business.
JAMES MADISON DR.,2500 block. A laptop computer was stolen from a school.
JERMANTOWN RD.,2800 block. Bikes were stolen from a business.
MARKET COMMONS DR.,4400 block. Tools were stolen from a residence.
MILLER HEIGHTS RD.,3000 block. A trash can was stolen from a residence.
