MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS
LIGHTFOOT ST.,3800 block. A 2001 Yamaha motorcycle was stolen.
STRINGFELLOW RD.,4200 block. A 2006 Toyota Camry was stolen.
FAIR OAKS SHOPPING CENTER,11700 block. A 1999 Toyota truck was stolen.

HOMICIDES
EDSALL RD.,6400 block, 8 a.m. Dec. 10. Laquetta S. Sanders, 22, died of stab wounds after she was allegedly stabbed by a female relative in her home. The relative, who was also injured, was taken to Inova Fairfax Hospital in critical condition. The case was under investigation.
ASSAULTS
BLOOMFIELD DR.,5600 block, 12:04 a.m. Dec. 3. Three men were arrested in connection with an incident in which two men were shot and assaulted with baseball bats after an argument with several people in an apartment. A 23-year-old Springfield man was charged with aggravated malicious wounding, malicious wounding, two counts of the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, burglary at night while armed, and gang participation. A 19-year-old Springfield man and a 29-year-old Maryland man were charged with aggravated malicious wounding, malicious wounding, burglary at night while armed and gang participation. The injured men, a 32-year-old Alexandria area resident and a 30-year-old Woodbridge area resident, were treated at Inova Fairfax Hospital.
ROBBERIES
FRONTIER DR.,6600 block, 6:30 p.m. Dec. 8. Three men, one with a handgun, robbed a 22-year-old man walking in a lower level parking garage. They took his cellphone and cash, then fled in a vehicle.
GUNSTON COVE RD.,9300 block, 8:40 p.m. Dec. 11. A man with a handgun demanded cash from a 47-year-old gas station clerk. The victim gave the robber money from cash registers, and he fled.
THEFTS/BREAK-INS
ARCADE ST.,8000 block. A bow and arrow were stolen from a residence.
BACKLICK RD.,6100 block. A computer was stolen from a vehicle.
BACKLICK RD.,6600 block. Beer was stolen from a business.
BRADDOCK RD.,6500 block. A purse was stolen from a school.
