Government agencies can also provide help:

The U.S. Administration on Aging runs an Eldercare Locator Number, 1-800-677-1116, which helps people anywhere in the nation locate help with issues including transportation, home care and housing.

The Virginia Department for the Aging provides services and connections to other esrouces through its local agencies which you can find at its Web site: www.vda.virginia.gov

The Maryland Department of Aging's local agencies may be foudn at : www.mdoa.state.md.us/Network/AAAList or by calling 1-800-243-3425.

The District's Office on Aging can be reached at 202-724-5622 or through its Web site, http://dcoa.dc.gov
