Ceremony preceding the lying in state of President Ford in the Capitol Rotunda on Saturday:

-Prelude music by the U.S. Army Brass Quintet.

-Invocation by Rev. Daniel P. Coughlin, House chaplain.

-Interlude music by the U.S. Navy Sea Chanters Chorus: "God Bless America" and the Navy hymn "Eternal Father Strong to Save."

-Remarks by Senate President Pro Tempore Ted Stevens, R-Alaska, House Speaker Dennis Hastert, R-Ill., and Vice President Dick Cheney.

-Presentation of wreaths by Stevens, Hastert and Cheney.

-Benediction by retired Rear Adm. Barry C. Black, Senate chaplain.

-Doors opened to the public.
