Napa Valley's Silverado Resort has reduced its Golfer's Dream Package rates through Feb. 28. A one-bedroom suite and golf for two, including cart, is now $199 per room per night Sunday-Thursday ($279 Friday or Saturday) plus 12 percent taxes and a $3 per night energy surcharge. Priced separately, room rate typically starts at $205 per night, and golf is $70 per person per round. Ski Park City, Utah, and receive a free lift ticket for the day of arrival. To qualify, complete a redemption voucher available at http://www.parkcityinfo.com. Present the voucher along with your same-day airline boarding pass into Salt Lake City airport and a current out-of-state photo identification at a lift counter at any of Park City's three ski resorts -- Deer Valley, Park City Mountain or the Canyons. The Quick START (Ski Today and Ride Today) program is good through Feb. 15 and from March 26 until closing day. A daily lift ticket typically is $75 to $77. Two flights, one on Delta from Washington Dulles and the other on Southwest from BWI, get to Salt Lake City before 11 a.m.; the resorts are within an hour of the airport.

SEA

A cruise-tour on the M/V Polar Star expedition cruise ship has been discounted by more than 50 percent. Starting price per person double for the new 13-night itinerary departing March 29 from Recife, Brazil, is now $1,495. The tour includes a nine-night cruise from Recife to the Canary Islands, with island stops at Fernando de Noronha, St. Peter and St. Paul Rocks, and Cape Verde; six shore excursions; and four nights' hotel, with day programs, in the Canary Islands. Priced separately, the package would cost about $246 more per person. Also, additional nights at the lodge can be added for $580 per couple per night, a savings of about $22.
