FEB. 17-22: GEORGE WASHINGTON BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION George Washington's estate celebrates the birthday anniversary of the first president with parades and a sample of Washington's favorite breakfast, "hoecakes swimming in butter and honey," Feb. 17-18.
