Contestants have 30 days, beginning with a clean shave, to grow a mustache. Progress is charted at weekly happy hours, and the finale takes place in the form of a beauty pageant, where the winner is ceremoniously crowned Mr. Sweet 'Stache. Contestants are also judged on how much money they raise (last year, one contender brought in $900). Spectators are asked to pay a small cover charge.
