February on TV One

The Silver Spring-based network is carrying special programming dedicated to Black History Month.

Broadcasts include an "In Conver-sation . . . " special on Sunday at 9 p.m., featuring the Rev. Al Sharpton and guests discussing allegations of police brutality. Other broadcasts include "The Color Purple: The Color of Success" and a "TV One on One" interview with Harry Belafonte, both on Feb. 18. TV One's black history salute continues through March 3.

COVERED IN CHOCOLATE WEEK

Starting Monday on Food Network

Chocoholics, celebrate: Food Network is serving chocolate-flavored shows through Feb. 11. For an appetizer, sample the special "All Star Chocolate" on Wednesday at 9 p.m., in which Tyler Florence and other network favorites offer chocolate recipes. "Emeril Live: Chocolate Challenge" on Feb. 11 at 8 p.m. showcases viewers' top chocolate choices, including Double Chocolate Buzz Buzz cookies. "Chocolate Runway Challenge," also Feb. 11, gives new meaning to the term "dress for excess": five top pastry chefs whip up evening gowns fashioned entirely of chocolate.
