LEE JACKSON MEMORIAL HWY.,12000 block, 9:30 to 10:30 p.m. Feb. 3. A man wearing a ski mask and armed with a gun entered a medical office building and damaged a cash register, a vending machine and several doors.
BENNETT RD.,11900 block. Jewelry was stolen from a residence.
HICKORY GROVE CT.,3000 block. A stereo was stolen from a vehicle.
JUDICIAL DR.,10500 block. A cellphone was stolen from a vehicle.
LITTLE CURRENT DR.,2400 block. A stereo and a global positioning system device were stolen from a vehicle.

Franconia DistrictHERSHEY LANE,5500 block, Feb. 4. Two men were stabbed during a fight at a party. Both were treated at Inova Fairfax Hospital.
ROBBERIESACCOTINK RD.,8300 block, 9:15 p.m. Feb. 2. A man grabbed a purse from a 40-year-old woman as she got out of her car in the driveway of her residence. Her 47-year-old husband had just opened the garage door. He attempted to help his wife, and the man stabbed him in the upper body. The robber fled with the purse. The injured man was treated at Inova Fairfax Hospital.
LOISDALE CT.,6500 block, 3:30 p.m. Feb. 7. A man entered a hotel, implied he had a weapon and gave a clerk a note announcing a robbery. The clerk went into a back office to get cash, and the man fled without taking anything.
THEFTS/BREAK-INSBRADDOCK RD.,7000 block. Credit cards were stolen from a school.
BRADDOCK AND BACKLICK ROADS, A stereo and speakers were stolen from a vehicle.
DUNWICH WAY,6600 block. A laptop computer was stolen from a vehicle.
EDSALL RD.,6500 block. Gas was stolen from a service station.

LAKE COVE CT.,5300 block. A check and a computer were stolen from a residence.

WOODLAKE LANE,6000 block. A 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe was stolen.
Mason DistrictLEESBURG PIKE,6000 block, 7:45 p.m. Feb. 2. Two men asked a 24-year-old male pedestrian for cigarettes, and he walked away. A short time later, the men approached the pedestrian in a parking lot and struck him on the back of the head, then ran. A family member drove the man to Inova Fairfax Hospital.
NORTH ROSSER STREET AND MAGNOLIA LANE,6 a.m. Feb. 6. A passenger got out of a car and used a knife to stab a 24-year-old male pedestrian. The pedestrian was treated at Inova Fairfax Hospital for injuries to his upper body.
ROBBERIESJOHN MARSHALL DR.,2900 block, 6 a.m. Feb. 5. A 42-year-old female pedestrian noticed a man walking behind her. He then struck her and knocked her down. The man grabbed her purse, then fled on foot. The woman was treated at Inova Alexandria Hospital.
LAKE ST.,3500 block, 1 a.m. Feb. 2. A man showed a knife and demanded cash from a cabdriver who had just driven him and another man from Arlington County. The driver resisted, and the accomplice showed a gun and took cash. Both men fled. The driver reportedly refused medical treatment at the scene.
LEESBURG PIKE,6000 block, 1 a.m. Feb. 7. A man stepped toward a 20-year-old male pedestrian and announced a robbery. A second man then struck the pedestrian on the head, knocking him to the ground. The first man then grabbed the pedestrian's cash and cellphone, and they fled on foot. The pedestrian was treated at the scene for injuries.
LITTLE RIVER TPK.,6200 block, 7:30 p.m. Feb. 1. A man pushed a woman as she was opening the trunk of her car in a parking lot. He then took her purse and ran. A security guard heard the woman scream and chased the man briefly. No injuries were reported.
LITTLE RIVER TPK.,7300 block, 8 p.m. Feb. 7. Two men approached a 45-year-old woman as she left a business in a shopping center and grabbed her purse, causing her to fall. The men fled in a vehicle. No injuries were reported.
LITTLE RIVER TPK.,7300 block, 9:40 p.m. Feb. 7. Three men approached a 43-year-old woman in a parking lot of a shopping center and attempted to steal her purse. The pedestrian refused to release the purse, and the men fled. No injuries were reported. A short time later, three men approached a 46-year-old woman leaving a business in the shopping center, pushed her to the ground and took her purse. The men fled on foot. The pedestrian reportedly received a minor injury.
THEFTS/BREAK-INSARLINGTON BLVD.,6100 block. A flat-screen TV was stolen from a business.
CARLIN SPRINGS RD.,3400 block. Beer was stolen from a business.
COLUMBIA PIKE,5800 block. A toolbox was stolen from a business.
COLUMBIA PIKE,6300 block. A wallet and credit cards were stolen from a vehicle.
COLUMBIA PIKE,7100 block. Firewood was stolen from a business.
CREST DR.,3700 block, 4:15 a.m. Feb. 3. Police, responding to an alarm at a school administrative building, saw a man carrying computer equipment. They chased the man, but he escaped. When officers returned to the building, they saw heavy smoke coming from it. Police identified the man and obtained warrants in connection with burglary and arson.

LEESBURG PIKE,6000 block. Jewelry was stolen from a residence.

WINGATE ST.,6400 block. A 1997 Honda Civic was stolen.
McLean DistrictARLINGTON BLVD.,8100 block, 10:45 a.m. Feb. 8. Two masked men with handguns robbed a bank of cash. During the robbery, one of the men struck a 27-year-old male employee. He was treated at Inova Fairfax Hospital.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTSWESTWIND WAY,1600 block. A 2004 Yamaha R6 motorcycle was stolen.
Mount Vernon DistrictAUDUBON AVE.,7900 block, 12:40 a.m.
Feb. 4. A man entered an unlocked apartment and pointed a shotgun at a 22-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman. He demanded cash. The couple struggled with the man, and he fled.
HUNTINGTON AVE.,7300 block, 1:30 a.m. Feb. 6. Two men, one with a handgun, demanded cash and cigarettes from employees in a convenience store. The employees complied and were ordered to go into a back room. The men fled in a black Ford Explorer.
ROLLING HILLS AVE.,3700 block, 8 p.m. Feb. 2. A man approached a 22-year-old man as he was entering a building and beat him. He attempted to take the man's wallet, then only took his cellphone. No serious injuries were reported.

Sully DistrictST. GERMAIN DR.,14200 block, 11:45 a.m. Feb. 6. A man sitting in the main room of a public library exposed himself to a 37-year-old woman. He was there when police arrived. A 31-year-old Centreville man was charged with indecent exposure.
ROBBERIESCANADA GOOSE CT.,13500 block, 11:30 p.m. Feb. 3. A man got out of a vehicle and robbed a 43-year-old man at gunpoint. He took cash and other property from the pedestrian, then fled in a white BMW.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTSAUTO PARK CIR.,4100 block. A 2007 Ford Fusion was stolen.
BONHAM PL.,6300 block. A 2000 Chrysler Town and Country was stolen.
West Springfield DistrictBOSTON BLVD.,7300 block, 4:30 p.m. Feb. 6. A man left a store with a cart full of merchandise. An alarm sounded, and an employee chased the man until the robber pointed a gun at him. The cart fell over, and the robber continued to run, leaving the merchandise.
KINGSTOWNE TOWNE CENTER,5900 block, 3:45 p.m. Feb. 1. A man entered a side entrance of a bank and passed a note to a teller demanding money. The teller had just emptied a drawer, and there was no cash available. The robber then fled. Twenty minutes later, in the 7000 block of Bland Street, the man passed a note to a bank teller, then left empty-handed. Another twenty minutes later, in the 7500 block of Huntsman Boulevard, the man again passed a note to a bank teller and left empty-handed. An investigation led police to a residence in the 8600 block of Bent Arrow Court in Springfield. An officer chased a suspect, who ran into a residence after assaulting the officer. Police negotiators persuaded the man to surrender. A 49-year-old Springfield man was charged with robbery and assaulting a police officer.

ALLISON CIR.,4200 block, 10:15 a.m. Feb. 4. A woman entered a male acquaintance's residence and argued with him. She refused to leave, then shouted and hit and scratched the acquaintance. The man carried her to the
front door and told her to leave. She then
ran into a bathroom. While the man called
police, the woman threw items at him. A 42-year-old Maryland woman was charged with assault.
ARLINGTON BLVD.,9500 block, 7:58 p.m. Feb. 1. A man tried to kick a car door shut, injuring another man's head, after an argument with the man in a parking lot. The injured man was treated at the scene for a head cut.
ROBBERIESFAIRFAX BLVD.,10400 block, 10:30 a.m. Feb. 5. A man entered a bank and shouted at tellers, demanding cash. The tellers placed money in a white plastic bag, and he fled.
THEFTS/BREAK-INSCHAIN BRIDGE RD.,4300 block, 8:30 to 9 a.m. Feb. 3. A wallet, left on a chair in a waiting room of a medical office, was stolen.
FAIRFAX BLVD.,9400 block, 7 to 8:47 p.m. Feb. 2. An employee's purse was stolen from a shelf near the front door of a restaurant.
FAIRFAX BLVD.,10700 block, 10 to 11 a.m. Feb. 3. License plates were stolen from a vehicle in front of a business.
LEE HWY.,9500 block, Jan. 30 to Feb. 3. Several items were stolen from a vehicle parked at a business.
MAIN ST.,9600 block, 11 to 11:05 a.m. Jan. 31. A male ran from a grocery store with merchandise.
MAIN ST.,9600 block, 4 to 6 p.m. Feb. 6. A cellphone and cash were stolen from a locked locker at a fitness center.
MAIN ST.,9600 block, 6:15 to 7:20 p.m. Feb. 6. Several items were stolen from a locked locker at a fitness center.
PICKETT RD.,3700 block, 9:50 to 10:20 p.m. Feb. 3. Three purses were stolen from an unlocked locker at an ice arena.
SPRING ST.,3100 block, Feb. 2 to Feb. 3. License plates were stolen from a vehicle at a business.
MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTSSIDEBURN RD.,4200 block, 9:26 p.m. Feb. 1. A male got into a maroon 1994 Honda Accord and sped away. A witness followed the vehicle, and police were called. The vehicle struck the back of a bus, and the thief continued driving. Police were unable to locate it.
VANDALISMLEE HWY.,11000 block, 9:15 to 10 p.m. Feb. 3. Graffiti was written on a wall and a door of a men's room at a restaurant.
SIDEBURN RD.,4200 block, 9:20 p.m. Feb. 1. A screwdriver was inserted into a door lock of a vehicle in front of a residence.
UNIVERSITY DR.,3900 block, 2:20 a.m. Feb. 3. A man who had been forced to leave a business broke a window of the business with a brick. A 27-year-old Aldie man was charged with destruction of property.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS
BROAD ST. E.,1000 block, 5:36 p.m. Feb. 3. A man shoplifted a black leather wallet from a store. A 29-year-old Arlington man was charged with theft.
BROAD ST. E.,1000 block, 9:08 p.m. Jan. 31. Several items of clothing were stolen from a store. A getaway vehicle used in the incident was reported stolen from Fairfax County. Police recovered the vehicle.
BROAD ST. W.,1100 block, 12:49 a.m. Feb. 4. Two bottles of cough medicine were taken from a pharmacy. A store employee stopped the shoplifters and forced them to empty their pockets. The thieves then left.
BROAD ST. W.,1200 block, 11 a.m. to 12:19 p.m. Jan. 30. A black purse containing a wallet, a cellphone, four credit cards, a driver's license and cash was stolen from a shopping cart in a grocery store.
VANDALISMWASHINGTON ST. S.,300 block, 4 p.m. Feb. 2 to 8:45 a.m. Feb. 3. A wall in a business was damaged.

SPRINGTIDE PL.,1200 block, 11:22 p.m. Feb. 2. A man assaulted an acquaintance. A warrant charging a 38-year-old Herndon man with assault was filed.

PARK TERRACE CT. SE,200 block, 10:55 p.m. Jan. 31. A resident of an apartment heard noises on a patio and saw a man looking into the apartment. The resident confronted him, and he fled on foot.
ASSAULTSSIDELING CT. NE,600 block, 11:10 p.m. Feb. 3. Police were called about a domestic disturbance at a residence. A 54-year-old Vienna man was charged with assault.
THEFTS/BREAK-INSMANOR DR. NE,600 block, 8:20 p.m. Feb. 2. Police were called about an intruder in a residence. A 35-year-old Vienna man was charged with unlawful entry and public drunkenness.
PRINCETON TERR. SW,500 block, 2 p.m. Jan. 29 to 5:30 a.m. Jan. 31. License plates were stolen from a pickup truck in front of a residence.
