Fairfax County Executive Anthony H. Griffin proposed a $3.3 billion budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1. Highlights:
Spending: up 3 percent over last year.
Revenue: up 2.88 percent.
Tax and fee changes:
· Trash collection -- up to $350 a year from $315 per household.
· Sewer service -- up 6.75 percent, or about $18 a year per household.
Money for:
· Schools -- up 4 percent.
