Lakers F Lamar Odom, who was injured Friday night against the Kings, underwent an MRI exam yesterday that revealed a torn labrum in his left shoulder, team spokesman John Black said. He didn't travel to Phoenix for a game today, and will see a doctor tomorrow.

Odom got hurt when he was fouled by Sacramento's Brad Miller with 2:47 remaining of a 116-108 loss. Odom finished with 26 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists.

Black said the team would not speculate on whether Odom could be sidelined indefinitely.

It was the second major injury of the season for Odom, who missed 1 1/2 months because of a sprained right ankle before returning Jan. 27.

Two years ago, Odom suffered the same left shoulder injury, underwent surgery and missed the final two months of the season.

F Luke Walton is set to see a specialist tomorrow about his sprained right ankle. He has missed 16 games.

· TRAVELING: F-G Richard Jefferson will accompany the Nets on an upcoming six-game road trip, but it is uncertain whether he'll play for the first time since undergoing ankle surgery in January.

Jefferson played some slow-paced one-on-one with rookie Hassan Adams yesterday before the Nets played the visiting Celtics. It was the first one-on-one action for the six-year veteran since surgery on Jan. 22 on his right ankle.

· AIRLING: Cavaliers rookie G Daniel Gibson will miss at least two weeks with a sprained left big toe, an injury that will reshuffle Cleveland's lineup again.

Gibson, who has provided the Cavaliers with a spark since replacing Eric Snow at point guard in the starting lineup, initially injured his toe in a Feb. 14 game against Utah. He aggravated it during a loss in Dallas on Thursday.
