Yesterday was the beginning of a 30-day trial period in which Montgomery County police are using cameras and radar to enforce speed limits. The county sent out four mobile vans, and the city of Rockville sent out one, to monitor sites where the speed limit is 35 mph or less. Montgomery police will use the data to place six permanent cameras later this year. Here's a list of the places where cameras are being used.
