The D.C. voting rights bill went before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee yesterday. That was the first hurdle for the bill in the new Congress.

Today The House Judiciary Committee plans to hold a hearing with legal experts to discuss the D.C. House Voting Rights Act.

Tomorrow The House Judiciary Committee is expected to vote.

If . . . the bill is approved, it will go before the entire House of Representatives for a vote before April 2.
